How to Leave a Google Review and Google Rating For a Business

When I feel especially happy with the service I receive, I show love to other business owners by leaving them a positive online review, and below are steps on how to leave a Google Review. Reviews help more future customers trust a business before they try to get more information. I am so grateful for the clients who take the time to leave me a positive rating!

Pro Tip: When I review other businesses, I like to craft my reviews in a separate file first and then copy & paste them into Google when it’s time. That way, if you run into pesky internet issues and have to start over, you won’t have to start from scratch!

What you will need: An active Gmail account.

Tutorial on How to Submit a Google Review

  1. Make sure you are logged into your Gmail account.

  2. Google “Michelle Loufman Photography” (or your business of choice, for those of you using this blog post as a tutorial).

  3. Scroll down to the “Reviews” on the right side bar, or simply click on this link.

  4. On the right-hand side, scroll down until you see the “Write a Review” button & click on it.

  5. In the window that appears (right), click the appropriate number of stars to rate your experience with me.

  6. Next, select the bubbles that best represent what you liked about your experience.

  7. If you feel inclined to write a personal review, please do so in the provided space beneath the stars.

  8. Once finished, click “Post”

That’s it! Your review will now be visible until you take it down. After your review is published, you can edit what you wrote or change your rating at any time.

Thank you, sweet friend! I’m grateful for your time & efforts in leaving a rating & review of your experience with me!
